Château d'Esclans

Whispering Angel Côtes de Provence Red Blend

Paired with ratatouille and polenta. This wine was surprisingly complex. Aromas of tart strawberry and white peach has hints of floral and minerality. Taste is a delicate white peach tea with a splash of strawberry/raspberry quickly removed with a balanced tannin. This wine was great and paired amazingly with the food (as I would expect). Would drink again! — 2 months ago

Domaines Sacha Lichine Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2013

Delicate pale pink, dry rose. Clean bouquet with a hint of prawn cracker to it. Luscious smooth mouthfeel which isn't as meaty as the whispering angel (a good thing). Lightly juicy and elegant red berry taste with an almost talcum powder finish rather than a mineral edge. FYI the 2013 was the last vintage before the rebrand of this wine to Rock Angel (to align with the Whispering Angel sister brand). — 9 years ago

Domaines Sacha Lichine Rock Angel Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend

Apricots - some nice fruit flavor. But alcohol is out of balance. I prefer whispering angel of Declan’s roses. — 2 years ago

Garrus Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2013

Dry, crisp, complex. Fantastic Rosé - need to visit this vineyard in Provence! Grenache grapes - same winemaker as Whispering Angel (that is his entry level wine, Garrus is the top tier €100) — 9 years ago
