Blend of 91% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, 4% Cab Sauv, Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, espresso and sweet floral notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry, strawberry and ripe black cherry with notes of cacao, vanilla and dried floral herbs. Bon soir from Paris and and change of pace to burgundy. Since canard was on the menu tonight, a burgundy seemed appropriate. A little tightly wound, this Gevery Chambertin was light and peppery with sour cherries and good acidity. Nice pairing with some excellent duck. — a year ago
