Bon soir from Paris and and change of pace to burgundy. Since canard was on the menu tonight, a burgundy seemed appropriate. A little tightly wound, this Gevery Chambertin was light and peppery with sour cherries and good acidity. Nice pairing with some excellent duck.

Hot damn this is firing on all cylinders for a 12’. Deep. Complex. Fresh. Resolved tannins. Jj Buckley so it was a good price at the time. Really impressed. Wish I had 20 more bottles tucked away
