Beautiful Manzanilla, not overly tropical.
Rides the line between nutty and Saline.

The Pasadas are a particular favorite of mine. Funkier manzanilla, and with a heavy winter coat of flor, even more.
N:Salt water taffy, salt water, almonds, while flowers.
P: Bone dry, achingly so, not even a hint of wood, all seashore grass and pith. Hinting at fruit. All it’s own. — 3 years ago
Apples on the nose, bone dry and very oxidised. Not sure I would buy this but it paired amazingly well with creamy fatty fish — 3 years ago
Crisp, funky, delicate nose. Very briny.
Oyster shell, palate coating palate.
No caramel or toffee, very steely.
Delicious. Bright. — 4 years ago
This bottle has been open in fridge door for 2 days.
N:Very saline, crystal sea water. old docks, but fresh. Not wet. Some oranges and a wee bit o vanilla.
P: Complex briny salt water. Tide pools,
Chewy but delicate. A powerhouse manzanilla from the west end of the bodega.
Delish.

Peter Sultan
Other bottlings tasted more layered, I’d like to think, but for the peni-ultimate wine equivalent of salted caramel, this is it. Caramel not sweet at all,& the more fluid body from Palamino. Perhaps a tad too salty- but who doesn’t like salted caramel? 375ml bottle. Kinda cool how many deals are to be had in the Barbadillo line up. — a month ago
