Excellent wine and drinking great with a lot of dried flowers and fruits, mainly raisins/licorice stood out. Very long finish. It seemed to go on and on considering that I opened and decanted about an hour before dinner and was sill drinking great hours later. — 7 months ago

Forest floor, leather, dry blueberries, light roses, silky tannins — a year ago
Picked up a 6 pack of the Alessandro Rivetto Langhe Nebbiolo 2018 on Last Bottle Wines for $78. Not a bad deal. Elegant entry level Nebbiolo. Classic notes of tart red cherry, tar, rose, orange pekoe tea and wet earth. Medium plus acidity and ripe sweet tannins. Delicious weekday wine. — 3 years ago

Opened at 1 PM, started pouring into quite inappropriate glassware at 7PM.
Big shouldered, round, lots of carob hinting at dry cocoa, dark fruits. Tannins well integrated, many of the ‘16’s seem to be. Mouth filling. With protein very very nice. Brisket & lamb. Brown, blue and ochre on the nose and palate. A good number of years left I think.
No hint of over toast or barrel.
Very nice, especially with a varied long meal. long finish. — 18 hours ago
