Bottex was the first Bugey Cerdon that I ever tasted. 8% ABV, juicy tart red fruit, slight RS, ancient method bubbles. What’s not too like. — 2 days ago
Grated apple, with yorgult, cream, yeasts from lees treatment. Clean but, soft, juicy, round with fresh vibrant acidity. — 3 days ago
Clean and precise, pear, lime, seashells, and mountain stream 😂 opens up nicely. — a month ago
A beautiful and inexpensive delight. Melon, citrus with some rhubarb and a dash of salt. — 3 days ago
Complacent and shy, with bits of distinction. Needs a little time and brain juice to find the hidden quirks. The dill, the sour cream, the spearmint. Quiet entrances. Surrounded by a more familiar crew. Lemon zest, crisp pear, tangerine, and black pepper. — 25 days ago
Aroma of ripe cherries, herbaceous and foxy, with a hint of mint. On the palate, it’s rich and intense, with fine tannins and long finish. — 21 days ago
Souveraine Rousette. Em liked it a lot. $19 at MacArthur. — a month ago

Just delicious! I’ve had great luck w/Savoie wines and this was no different: pours extremely dark, inky, opaque, brooding taking its time to unfurl black & red fruit w/depth, earthy w/a hi tone note along with licorice and forest floor. Big mouth filling broad across palate, gobs of fruit but all fit into sturdy tannic frame. Well cut - a Country Squire — 14 days ago
