Off year / great producer - means drinkability for the masses. Awesome village wine. And a great year is ….. more expensive? And ? — 19 days ago

Domaine Alain Burguet

Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2005

A fully developed grand cru burgundy that is just singing. Perfumed and complex nose of dark cherries, plums, sous bois, floral, leathery notes and miso. Persistent throughout with a medium+ finish. Great stuff. — 11 days ago

Grand Veneur Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2019

Easy on the wallet, and the taste buds.

A solid Rhone here, with a nose of lilacs and violets.
Lighter body than you may be used to, cassis, boysenberry pie. A touch if heat and a lot of tannin will round this one out.
In my opine for a lot of whine, needs 5 years before drinking for full enjoyment.
Hope everyone is enjoying the day!
