Graves Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Still a nice wine. Time to drink if you decant for a bit. The Cab-heavy blend has really smoothed out. — 2 years ago

àRose Estate Rose Blend 2018

Estate Rosé Syrah, Walla Walla Valley. Reddish pink with an orange tinge, excellent clarity. White floral notes in nose. Strawberry and white pepper flavors with a hint of bing cherry, mineral and white pepper finish. Moderate astringency, skin and seed, enough to warrant decanting or patience (at least two hours). Strawberry and white pepper aftertaste with a hint of spearmint. Just enough acidity, but there’s a soft rounded mouthfeel under all those tannins. A serious and challenging but worthy rosé, one I like and that pushes the boundaries of the genre, but not all will like it. — 2 months ago

Walla-Walla went from onions and potatoes to amazing wine. I’ll have to check this out. Cheers! 🍷

Gorgeous color. Cheers!

Still love those sweet onions though. A local pizzeria in Seattle puts young green Walla Walla onions on their pizza every June. And in July some fast food places in Portland use them to make their onion rings. Pair those with some vino

Owl and Crown Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

A wonderful cabernet from WA. Deep ruby in color. The nose is cherry forward, with lots of mellow leather and green plants. The taste has great balance. The acidity gives it a nice brightness that play well off of the tannin, which give a great mouthfeel, not silky but not abrasive. The barrel notes come forward more, leaving a rich flavor that lingers, cooking spices, toasty flavors. This is such a classic Cab, really great drinking — 2 years ago
