àRose Estate Rose Blend

Estate Rose Syrah. Very light pink, excellent clarity. Notes of red fruit, flowers, dust, sage and Provencal herbs. Cherry flavor with length, dry, lemon-orange finish with slight skin astringency. "Lightly done" seems to be the design principle, but there is a lot of fruit and varietal expression running through this wine. Paired interestingly (imperfectly) with Humboldt Fog goat chèvre cheese and woven wheat (Triscuit) crackers. Pricey, so you should expect more value delivered. Bad pairing on my part, but pretty good rose. — 9 months ago

Preferred the 2016, but the 2017 may grow on me. I'll keep them coming, but thank you

Owl and Crown Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

A wonderful cabernet from WA. Deep ruby in color. The nose is cherry forward, with lots of mellow leather and green plants. The taste has great balance. The acidity gives it a nice brightness that play well off of the tannin, which give a great mouthfeel, not silky but not abrasive. The barrel notes come forward more, leaving a rich flavor that lingers, cooking spices, toasty flavors. This is such a classic Cab, really great drinking — a year ago

Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!

Very unique WA state wine. Bottle decanted for 6 hours and even after letting it sit in my glass for a good while, this puppy was still tightly knit. Lots of fruit here but it avoids being jammy. Bold black and red fruits and even some grapefruit. There was a spice/pepper note on the finish.

Graves Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Still a nice wine. Time to drink if you decant for a bit. The Cab-heavy blend has really smoothed out. — 2 years ago
