Cocoa powder, black raspberry, creamy tannins. Yum. — 10 years ago
Really liked this, ripe black cherries with a hint if clay. — 10 years ago
Woodsy, nice acidity, old world jam. — 10 years ago
Raw biscuit dough, vanilla, lush and welcoming — 10 years ago
Sawdust and pencil shavings, bramble berry. 2011 vintage needs to stay in the bottle for at least another 2-3 years before you should touch it. I think it'll be delightful once it calms down just a bit more. — 10 years ago
Stoney finish. This is a party in your mouth with candied pineapple and peach cobbler. Trace sweetness, had it with Greek food and it worked well — 10 years ago
Not a bad treat for $10. I don't like it as much as a couple late harvest zins I've had recently, but I would recommend this every time over one of the Cali "ports" that most people grab off the bottom shelf. Not as viscous as I hoped for though. — 10 years ago
The nose screams Shiraz with pepper and black fruit. Quite the homage to Cote Rotie as Viognier brings balance and elegance. As this decants the pepper goes from course black to fine white! Shiraz/Syrah is not usually my cup of tea but I'm very happy with this Australian bombshell from Chapoutier. — 10 years ago

Wild berries with dark earth tones. Very large, with shocking acidity, this bad boy could use another 5-10 years easily. — 10 years ago
