Four Vines
Paso Robles Port Zinfandel
Nose is heavy on red fruit, a touch of that Zin spiciness.
Incredibly smooth mouthfeel. Very sweet on the palate again with red fruit and a tannic spicy twist that keeps things interesting.
This one is worth giving a try. I would consider buying again, but would not necessarily seek it out.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy this again. Would seek out for the price point.

Jan 28th, 2016Interesting port style wine. 2008 vintage. It's got a lot of vanilla caramel notes and I bought it in Binny's in Chicago because it is called port and in the UK it would not be allowed to be called port.

Apr 6th, 2015Not a bad treat for $10. I don't like it as much as a couple late harvest zins I've had recently, but I would recommend this every time over one of the Cali "ports" that most people grab off the bottom shelf. Not as viscous as I hoped for though.
