Great merlot. Black licorice/anise, cherries with a hint of olive. Palate was all fruit, mid palate was slightly thin but the finish was a medium - medium plus. Cheers. — 9 years ago

Great Saison! The aging in wine barrels definitely comes through on the nose, it does have a richer aroma rather than the the fragile floral aromas I associate with Saison(s). It also has just the right amount of acidity for me. It's sour but not so much that it is out of balance. — 9 years ago

Bright cherries with some underlying baking spices. Intense fruit initially on the palate, round soft tannins. I really enjoyed this wine regardless of its youth. I can't wait to see what it will do in a few years. Cheers. — 9 years ago

Decanted for an hour before pouring. Really nice spices followed by strong raspberry and brambles. Very nice acid into a medium finish. Great representation of Zin.
