I really want to try this 2011 again a year or two down the road... It was good, but seemed edgy/tight.

5. More fruit despite some age. Feels like ca cab. Silk. great fruit with blackberry and chocolate notes. Finish is smooth. Revisit: nose is grilled meat and tea. Palette is all earth and spice. Has some age. Finish still smooth.

Bright cherries with some underlying baking spices. Intense fruit initially on the palate, round soft tannins. I really enjoyed this wine regardless of its youth. I can't wait to see what it will do in a few years. Cheers.
