Wait! This wine needs three more years. It’s amazing now yet we opened it and didn’t decant. It you have the patience, decant and wait a few hours. If not, cellar and forget about this bottle until 2020+ and then you’ll be singing it’s praises. It’s a beauty !! — 7 years ago

"As usual, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard is a fabulous effort...The 2010 boasts beautiful notes of fruitcake, espresso roast, chocolate and black currants in its complex, full-bodied, concentrated, multi-dimensional personality..."
- Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate,
#210, December 2013

Aging on fine lees incorporates the oak so that the two years or more that the Pedregal spends in 100% new French barrels is barely noticeable. As with all of our wines, it goes through native yeast and malolactic fermentations with monthly bâtonnage to develop depth and roundness on the palette. This wine combines the harmony produced by traditional Bordelaise winemaking techniques with the voluptuousness of Napa Valley terroir. It is lightly fined with egg whites for greater suppleness and bottled without filtration.

"Sage, rosemary, menthol, dark plums, licorice and sweet tobacco meld together in the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Annum. Plush, round and inviting, the 2010 appears to have a very bright future ahead of it. The balance of sweet, layered fruit and the structure of the year is simply dazzling. I have always adored David Ramey's 2010 Cabernets. Today, they are dazzling."
- Antonio Galloni, Vinous, February 2014

Aging on fine lees incorporates the oak so that the two years the Annum spends in 100% new French barrels is barely noticeable. As with all of our wines, it goes through native yeast and malolactic fermentations. This wine combines the harmony produced by traditional Bordelaise winemaking techniques with the voluptuousness of Napa Valley terroir. It is lightly fined with egg whites and bottled without filtration.

Tasty Turkish wine. Close to a Gamey or lighter Pinot Noir. Great fruit and structure. Brought to us from the UK by a Harvest 2013 intern who came to visit. Hard to get here but if you find it, it's worth the $17. — 11 years ago
