A winning and spicy combination of five Portuguese grapes forwarding jammy, cassis, and dark berry scent with a bit of oak for a smooth mouth full. Best to decant if you can wait. — 9 years ago
A 2012 Somontano, DO Spanish blend of Tempranillo, Merlot and Parraleta, a grape unique to the area, offers full, deep strawberry, cherry and concentrated currant smooth finish. — 9 years ago

Rich with a substantial floral nose, different from many common pinots. This vintage is nice. Been sipping this kind of Meomi since 2009. — 9 years ago
Able to find the 2009 and most everything is uber fine. Still a spice driven chocolate mocha and vanilla mix, showcasing the old and rare Monastrell with the temperate Tempranillo. Time to enjoy. Ole! 🌟 — 9 years ago
Pleasant, round, medium bodied , blackberry with a bit of wood and slight herb up front. Paid $7.99 at TJ. I'm a Cab Franc fan. — 9 years ago

Big and bold spice and fruity cherry and blueberries. Heavier on the tongue than the average Pinot Noir, it's hugely satisfying. — 9 years ago
Chocolate, vanilla, spice and everything is nice. Monastrell grapes plus two years in oak gives this reserve year some vine power. Sadly, stock is low, though. — 9 years ago

Right color, right feel, but not as fruit vibrant as I would hope or expect from the ratings here. — 9 years ago
