Updating some tasting notes from my recent trip to Napa.

I prefer this pinot over any of the others. I'm in love with the blueberry notes and the beautiful body that this wine has. So enjoyable.

Great table wine with a perfect meal. Fruit forward with blue berry and raspberry notes.

High toned and ripe cherry and raspberry, bramble and spicy, pine and herbs. In mouth its a big Pinot with lots of mid palate verve. But big for me for delicate dishes, but a tasty bold sipper or great for game or strong cheeses . Very well made, polished and classy

2012. I’ve really enjoyed several vineyards and vintages of Walt Pinot Noirs, but this may be my favorite. Still big, but not as high %abv as some of the others, this wine paired great with a steak with blue cheese and mushrooms, but was even better after dinner.

Hall is one of my favorite wineries and they’ve been doing terrific things with the Walt label. The ‘12 is deep, lush, and brooding. Explodes with flavors of cherry, earth, and spice box. A mouthwatering, memorable finish.

This wine has great length. Earthy tones , damp soil and just the right balance of blueberry with a full palate of flavor. Love the white peppery finish. Walt continues to do a fine job with Pinot.

Lush and concentrated, full of blackberry compote, vanilla, and spice box flavors. Fuller-bodied, but silky smooth. The 60-second finish is impressive and memorable. There's a lot going on here and it's all good.

Decent every day drinker. A little one note with the cola, but good overall. Nice oak essenced finish.
