Great spice, wonderful balance. Full fruit and strong tannins. Great steak wine for sure. Id go with a ribeye on this one. Could use some more softness or fruit. Overall a nice wine but a touch harsh. Definitely needs food. Washes down steak beautifully — 10 years ago

I LOVED the 2010. The 2011 is a bit darker in fruit with more american oak notes. Gorgeous lush nose. Palate shows excellent balance with acid, velvety tannins and stewed, ripe fruit. Age worthy for sure. — 11 years ago
