Best wine of the Fall 2017 Chairman's Selections. Elegant but nice fruits and minerally, savory, finish with hints of fruit though it. Drinks like a $40-$50.

This is a dense Pinot Noir with big cherry and black fruits, feels very lush with nice tannins. I like this wine a lot but would like it even more if it were slightly less fruit forward, but that is not the fault of the winemaker but simply an expression of the vintage.

Dense purple red in color. Black currant, raspberry, butter notes in nose. Mixed berries, black currant, spearmint and a touch of raisin and anise in mouth with moderate seed tannins in finish. Highly extracted Pinot, could be aged even longer given its style.
