Best Schulen ever. So wispy and juicy with amazing fruit intensity and more finesse than I have ever had in a Schulen.

Spices and red fruits, elegant and juicy, ethereal, very pinot vintage. What a finish.

Always a wonderful wine. Nose is soppy red cherries, limestone, herbs and all presented in a super subtle way. Gorgeous wet earth under. Palate is all red fruits, citrus and tons of tanginess and freshness. Great acids and form, powdery tannins. Needs some time but the length and purity are all there for my score to go higher. Tightest young Schulen I can remember. As this airs it gains concentration and explosiveness. Tiny red fruits bursting in your mouth with terrific grip and noble structure. Big tannins. What a wine. Still a 9.3. but I can see 9.4-9.5 with 6-18 hours of air.

Absolutely stunning—we continue to love the emerging generation of Pinot rock stars in Germany. Pine forest, black cherry, tiny red berries, violets, black tea, perfectly integrated oak, so much going on but disappeared fast

Lovely nose of spice, minerals and very exuberant. Black cherry skins and flesh but more skins and mid season red cherries. A lipstick like intensity. Very fresh and vibrant with terrific purity and a lace like texture. Really sappy and such great acidity. Red Riesling for the win. Very long finish. Will open more.

Outrageous. 5% new oak. Least amount of ever. Stunning cherry fruit. Amazing aromas. So pure and juicy. Tangy. Juicy. And terrific. What a Schulen. Terrific intensity and truly long finish and the fruit purity here is wonderful.

Solid but for the producer, cuvée and vintage, I expected more.

Beautiful, herbs, sage, early season cherries, huge spice, sweet and spicey, amazingly high toned, juicy and linear with terrific energy. Tart, but in a great way. So happy and structured. Amazing acidity. In tune with the fruit. Clings on the backend.

Nose has a bit of funk, mint, bittersweet cocoa, dark big cherries, floral, hint of sweet oak, juicy, complex, young, almost embryonic. Balanced and pure. Needs 5 years. Long. Persistent.
