Boah, what an insane wine! Called it a 1er cru Chablis in our blind, while RP called it a lieu-dit Meursault. Can’t remember what vintage I called, but definitely younger than 2015. You get the gist. So pure, saline, and powerful.

Stunning nose, grilled nuts, nose is so complex, wow, so rich and so ripe yet so chiseled, sappy and long. unreal. Insane insane insane.

Just crazy. Like elite Chassagne but edgier.

The second one. Wow. No words. Montrachet. So elegant. So complex. The nose is an 11. smells like old Monty. Grippy and structured. concentrated and elegant. Insane purity. Wow. Long. Astonishing.

Just the most unique wine. Lemon oil, herbal, so gorgeous, insane minerality, classy oak, super complex, iodine, has the rockiness of a Meursault Perrieres, palate is so complete, so concentrated and had a bitter/juuust ripeness. Only 12% better in 5 years. But insane now.

Amazing but young. Maybe 5 years? No formal notes.

Most in the blind thought it was at least a 1er Chablis. Very good guess I would say. It's impressive, just a little oakey and could do with a little more precision. Extract was sufficient but perhaps a little less than one would expect from top Burgundian domaines. Not a bad thing because I really liked this wine. So fine, pure, and mineral. The nose is flinty, woody, and smokey with the stone fruits playing second fiddle. Juicy and salty on the palate. Finishes round and long. I can definitely see why Hanspeter calls this his "Coche". I think some age could make this a mind-blowing wine. Btw, this is Chasselas 😉

Big surprise! Syrah from Germany. It is excellent. Refinement! Licorice. Chocolate

I can't even explain this nose. So complex. Lavender, bath soaps, the best bath soaps ever. Sickness. Genius. One of the best noses ever. On any wine ever. Palate is dry and juicy. So clean, 12 alcohol. Sick minerals. This is a genius wine of the highest degree.
