Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend

Incredible drinking experience. My first Amarone. Smooth and pruney. Excellent with food (several types of pasta and sauces) and alone.

Smells of earth and mushroom; light tannins; light body ; subtle earthy flavor; not as flavorful as hoped

Not amarone -raisin tasting but a nice red. Not sure how much $

Really enjoyed this bottle. Perfect with vegetarian Mac n Cheese

Nariz: pasas, ciruela, regaliz, especies

Boca: Seco, Acidez M, Tanino M, Alcohol Alto.

Very well balanced. Prunes and currant notes stand out in this excellent Amarone.
