A special year for us and what a way to remember that! Thin edge showing the age but age is only showing here. The nose is overwhelming. The first hints of some mushrooms perhaps in the red fruit dominated nose. Silky mouth with tanins smoothened away. Finish over the minute. Great wine!

2005 - should not have opened this wine as it is too good for casual drinking. Amazing depth and tone. Unparalleled and now very hard to find this vintage. Simply an amazing wine and an amazing year.
