Drank it young, so I'm going to hold onto the others for a few more years

An industry standard. The definition of full-bodied. Port-like, but dry. A whirlwind of velvety texture in the mouth. Tingly sensation on the mid and back palate. Yummy.

This is a dreamy wine. Starts with intense sweet stone fruits, raisins and leather. Midpalate morphs into cocoa, bright cherries and black pepper. Finish returns tons of bright fruit. It is a bit heavy on the alcohol, but overall, truly lovely.

We are not usually big fans of these raisin wines, but this one was actually pretty nice. Punching like a heavyweighter, but still moving around in the ring with the elegance of a ballet dancer.

Rich, plummy goodness with food friendly acidity. Paired exceptionally well with both the beef and sausage lasagna and the dark chocolate espresso beans.
