I only know a few vintners (okay only 2) who make a Trousseau Gris and both do a great job.

Nice, true to the grape. River rock nose, pear, stonefruit, acid freak wine.

Bright lemon and floral scents in the glass...the flavors of quince, meyer lemon, stone fruit, and a distinct minerality slowly build with delicious acidity backing it all up...

First, let me preface this by thanking 750 Wines for squeezing our group into their schedule...twice in one day! Yes, we had such a great experience with Elizabeth Vianello and David Stephens that we came back a few hours later. They know everyone and everything about California wines, winemakers and wineries. The "Splash and Dash" at 8:30 am is the best way to start any day!! We started with this crisp and dry Trousseau Gris from Zeitgeist. Light minerality and a twinge of ginger.

Lovely acidic w/ a surprising mid-palate Concord grape tone. Lucious.

Had this a few nights ago and quite enjoyed it, medium to light body, lightly fruity but dry, tasted like maybe a little oak but not too much.

2015 | Orange flower water, kaffir lime, green papaya, and Smarties waft up and give way to yuzu citrus, a dusty volcanic sensation, and snappy lemon acidity. Lively, lovely, and a good friend to weeknight supper. *Sidenote* our fall weather here in soCA was a balmy 95 degrees this late October day.... Zeitgeist rescued me from unseasonable warmth with their sunny disposition.
