Lovely wine from ZM. Tons of varietal character at a bargain price.

Very unique white for California. This winery aims for Rhône and we had a great tasting there last week. Lots of marzipan and tanning oil on the nose, with dried apricot and honeycomb dominant on the palate. Maybe just a tiny zaca overdone?

Opened this just as a curiosity, almost 10 years old, and you know what? It's pretty tasty! Enough acidity to match the dried stone fruits and tropical notes. Past prime? Maybe. Pretty good though
