Balanced flavors that is thicker and still maintains a refreshing aspect. Easy to drink not sour fermented or bitter.

There is an underlying beauty in this win that only time will reveal. A strongly flavored wine, but there is elegance here. Worth cellaring.

I had some trepidation about the age of the wine as it has been hiding out in the back of my wine cooler for almost 2 decades.
The cork needed an ahso to extract it and the bottle has some significant sediment but I could tell immediately the wine was in great shape.
Solid red core with garnet edges. Pomegranate, blackberry and black pepper aromas. Initial sweet peak with raspberry, jammy mulberry and anise glides across the palette. Still enough acidity for structure and holds the berry / cranberry and ash finish for a long time.
Truly worth the wait!

Hit the wine over the Easter dinner with the family or friends was delightful I'll have it again
