A little angular, much like The Zach Brown Band.

And just for Zac Brown; I'm drinking it out of a mason jar.

Lots of mineral and oaky notes. Some leather. Very dry. Slight alcohol bite. Maybe was too old when we had it? Not sure this wine is high enough quality to age longer than 4-5 years.

Did I say "Mmmmmm" or "Yum" on my first sip? Doesn't matter, because I said both throughout the glass. Dark berries, with peppery spice, but not too full bodied for a pinot, despite the dark, cab-like color. Well balanced tannins and acidity. 2015 vintage in April 2018.

Beautiful Pinot with dark cherry and pepper. Paired with salmon, this was a wonderful wine and I would certainly buy it again.
