375 ml -2016 Vintage - roasted meats ,subtle spice ( I’m assuming 100% Syrah here) a hefty amount of oak - I feel like the oak is too heavy handed - yet the wine possesses wonderful balance

Consumed directly after the 2015 Cornas “Le Village”. This was just a notch below that wine in my opinion. Right now, the structure is taking center stage and not allowing the fruit to deliver in the same way its cousin is giving. I also think the Cornas showed more complexity. Not that this isn’t endowed with fruit or complexity. A very lovely wine though.

Out of a 375mL. Striking purple color looking super fresh. A powerful bouquet of blue fruits, flowers, and bacon fat. Tart blue and red fruits, minerals and smoked meat on the palate. Great acid. Tannins are pretty stiff right now. Long finish. A fantastic pairing with lamb stew. I love how much energy this has! I expect this to have a very bright future ahead.

Elegant Syrah with great berry flavors and smooth flavors. Nice fruit in the attack and long elegant finish. A classic Syrah.

100% Syrah from 20-40 years old vines from different plots in Chavanay. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged in oak barrels for 16 months. Complex, aromas of dar fruits, olives, graphite and hints of herbs and medicinal notes. Full-bodied, structured, quite quaffable

Dark blue/black fruits with earth and smoky minerals and grainy tannins that soften over time. Lovely.
