Dark amethyst in the glass. Shy nose and medium palate of black cherry and patent leather. Hint of bitterness back palate. Bright, medium+ acidity. Very low tannins that only assert on the finish. Finish is moderate and continues the palate. Classic Sonoma PN lodged right in-between sipper and dinner wine. Will serve either purpose nicely -- especially if dinner has a bit of spice or heat -- though one could do better at the price for either. Drink now through 2029.

Made by a friend of mine so with professional integrity at heart I'll refer from an (otherwise biased) rating here.
Did I enjoy it? Hell yeah!!

Floral, dark cherry nose, slight pine and spice; palate of sweet dark cherry, cola, streak of mild cocoa mid-palate; slightly crunchy and mineral undertones; this isn't an overly sweet, extracted new world Pinot; lighter tannins, acid and not hot; delicious. I like this better than the 2013.
