Yarra Valley Shiraz Viognier Blend

Just a touch (2%) Viognier keeps this Shiraz shockingly elegant and giving of florality (sensual!), while the rich red fruit, black olive and green peppercorn add a touch of brawn and breadth to the slightly textured but surprisingly ripe tannins, leading into blueberries and (again) ripe but lifted finish. Well done, cool-climate Aussie wines!

Dense, brooding and holding its form at 13 years. A fun journey of evolution ahead.

Smells like wet soil with worms. Good fruit on the pallet and decent acids. This one is very interesting for sure. It's definitely a bit funky on the nose

Viognier really pops in this lovely blend, the Shiraz is really lovely, blue fruits and some black fruits as well, great acid, medium-long finish, really excellent Aussie Shiraz!!

Smooth, plum notes.

Accidentally opened too early but tasty nonetheless.

Plush, well rounded, great dark fruit notes, chocolate too, very moorish.

Don't keep wine too long.
