Driehoek Raised By Wolves Chenin Blanc

Very good value here. Pretty classic profile with some yellow fruits, reductive/stony aromas and a firmly structured palate driven by a hint of dryness and an oily texture.

A delightful South African Chenin Blanc which after a short decant and time to warm up, in the glass, hits you with enticing aromas of pineapple, citrus peel, lemon curd & brioche.  Ever so slightly off-dry on the palate with lemon oil and hints of chalky minerality joining the mix through on a relatively long finish.  Stands by itself, but also a stellar pairing with crispy skin salmon and orzo cucumber salad! 2018 in 3/21. Garagiste $12 so I'm not bitching but there was a bitter rough edge making it not loveable. 12%
