Very good value here. Pretty classic profile with some yellow fruits, reductive/stony aromas and a firmly structured palate driven by a hint of dryness and an oily texture.

Nov 12th, 2022A delightful South African Chenin Blanc which after a short decant and time to warm up, in the glass, hits you with enticing aromas of pineapple, citrus peel, lemon curd & brioche. Ever so slightly off-dry on the palate with lemon oil and hints of chalky minerality joining the mix through on a relatively long finish. Stands by itself, but also a stellar pairing with crispy skin salmon and orzo cucumber salad! [6/30/23] ($38)

1 person found it helpfulJul 1st, 2023N: gold apples, lemons, beeswax, a bit of wool when first opened, honeysuckle
P: “” pretty classic Chenin, high acidity, rounded palate especially as it warms up, chalky finish . Tastes more balanced after its warmed up a bit

Mar 11th, 2022Grapefruit, ocean spray, lemon peel.
Creamy mouthfeel. A bit of silk. Pamplemousse.
Although, it lacks a bit of the complexity that I usually like with Chenin. A little too acidic. Missing some roundness and that intangible quality of exceptionalism.
