Amazing nose, apple and citrus, maybe some lilac or violet too. Really nice, still has that on the palate. Acidic enough but not astringent.

Bought this sub £10 bottle to go in my chilli and had a glass with it. It's surprisingly good considering the price - spicy and very drinkable. Went really well with the chilli (as a drink not just as the sauce!)

Surprised at how low some of the ratings are, as this was a real winner for me. Apricot jam and ginger round out the tart, sweet taste. Lots of oak but the resulting browned butter creaminess worked.

Yeah some pong upon opening, and pétillance oddly. Vacuuming it brought a foam to the surface! Fleshy and relatively powerful smoke. There is a hint of vegetal bitterness to it which is off putting, but airing it out helps and within a few minutes it's a decent peppery grassy apricot. Still good at this price point, and more interesting than a staved up chardonnay.

Very good for the price. My first Viognier and Australian wine. Mostly floral notes, and light bodied.
