Clos Les Montys Sur Lie Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Melon de Bourgogne

Med bodied, plenty of acid, mod alcohol, and lees contact give this wine an almost contrasting mouthfeel of crisp and cream. Melons, green apples, beer, cheese rind, and sea spray.

Easily drinking the entire bottle now.

A great picnic wine. Subtle. I bought two to see how it ages.

2012, Clos Les Montys, Vigne de 1914, Muscadet Sevre et Maine, Melon de Bourgogne. From 100+ year old vines. Another excellent Muscadet. Citrus, salinity and acidity. One of my favorite white varietals.

Sad to see this bottle end. Such a nice crisp summer wine.
