Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend

Deep purple (even smoke on the water), spicy and full. An excellent CDR.

Wild fraises, kirsch, garrigue. Maybe the greatest in the history of these benchmark CDR. Has the concentration and length of most southern Rhône crus. Superior. #xavier #côtesdurhône #grenache

Strawberry, smoke, vanilla bean, leather. Better balanced, more nimble than some previous Xavier CDRs. Excellent!

Juicy, medium-bodied Syrah red wine blend from the Côtes Du Rhône. Appropriate accompaniment to Pat’s grilled steak.

A bit jammy for my liking but still very smooth and enjoyable. Nothing too flavorful otherwise but it’s a solid table wine.

2016 all day from the Rhône Valley. A madman made this wine, actually. Dark fruits, great spice and smoke from the 15% Syrah. 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre. A.k.a. the best combo on the planet.
