Wow don’t think I’ve had this producer before - nice hazelnut lemon drop spice and minerality slight butterscotch nice acidity and medium bodied 2014 vintage - for me this wine speaks of where it’s from

One of those white Burgundies that makes you question the logic of the crowd. Why is no one drinking Monnot? It's imported by the same guy who brings in Jamet. Powerful, intense, pure and showing plenty of pedigree, potential, and freshness tonight.

Simply amazing wine. I passed it through a decanter to aerate quickly. Rich powerful lemon on the approach, with a very sharp and precise minerality, A nice long finish and a desire for more at the end! What else can you ask for?

A bit tight on the nose but some serious body/structure/palate weight.

Lovely Meursault Charmes

Need to drink more of this. Chardonnay from Les Charmes, one of Meursault’s most famous Premier Cru vineyards. Beautiful nose with aromas of white flowers, lemon custard and chalk. Hints of hazelnuts. Medium to full bodied, quite rich, textured, mineral, chalky, slightly saline finish

Struck match, orchard fruit and lemon oil.
