Dark gold color. Really nice aromas of overripe yellow and red apple, honey, and intense petrol. Cooked and bruised apple on the pallet with hints of apricot, fresh herbs and honey. A bit of slate and saline on the finish. Intensely SWEET! (Does not say Late Harvest on the label). Almost cloyingly so. Not enough acidity to balance all that sweetness. For me, this is a dessert wine that should be consumed in small servings.
