This just keeps getting better. The Stoney Vine funk is still very present but subdued a bit. Such a lovely wine, bummer it isn’t being made any longer.

Disappointing red; wanted very much to like this wine, but it is far too young. Muddled and excessive tannins and strong pepper notes cloud underlying blackberries and plums.

Jan 30th, 2017Very sweet, almost desert wine-like blend of 53% Grenache, 37% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre. Reminds me of in carbonated Malvira Birbet.
