I expected this to be hot and clumsy. Don't know why, I just did. While concentrated, it was balanced with terrific fruit and savory flavor, acid bright and long, and a tasty finish filled with notes of smoke and black cherry. Nimble for 14.5% abv. Club choice at Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant. Retail $44.

This SLH Pinot is delicious! Medium ruby color. Aromas of blueberry, cherry, salinity and earthy tones. Plum and black cherry on the palate with an earthy finish.

Even poured into a sad plastic cup, this is delicious. A little heavier bodied than I prefer but still a great mouthfeel. Great lingering finish.
