Cherry, cherry, cherry - ripe, tart, and cooked in a pie. Smooth as silk from start to finish.

A chocolate covered ch ch ch cherry bomb. Dark cherry, dark chocolate, toffee, caramel, spice, minerals, and..., wow, so much going on with this wine. Medium bodied with a moderate acid finish and lingering charred fruit notes. San Saba is just outside the SLH AVA, so Wrath can’t promote this as an SLH wine, but I rank it right up with the best Monterey area Pinots.

So much going on here. Beautiful nose with raspberry, cherry, chocolate, mulled fruit and smokey overtones on the palate. Lucious and smooth start to sizzling acid finish.

This is a killer bottle of Pinot. The wine is complex but balanced, concentrated but not overwhelming, and super smooth throughout. There is the typical Pinot fruit, accented at times by dusted chocolate and some late spiciness. Delicious.
