Pretty massive. Would never guess it’s 14 years old. Deep ruby, borderline purple. Baking chocolate, pipe tobacco, roasted red pepper, blackberry, cassis, gravel. Hot and oaky. Not my style, but I can’t deny how wonderfully in the pocket this bruiser is. The winery of famed Heisman Trophy winner and former Green Bay Packer (and Raider) Charles Woodson.

Unfortunately this 2008 bottle had cork taint. Moldy cardboard and musty dank basement, muted all other aromas and flavors and after trying to decant for hours and use plastic wrap it never blew off. It's too bad because I have previously enjoyed this vintage.
