Nose has lemon meringue, sweet barrel notes and cold butter.
Palate has lemon turnover pastry, honey roasted almonds, lemon oil and warm mineral notes.
I might draw a distant connection to Meursault, but it lacks the smoke/crushed rock aspects. My initial score after a 2H decant was 90, today we're much improved, score updated to 92.

Wow. Pure. Sweet wood. Confection. Floral. So complex and deep. Juicy and lean but so energetic and tense. Sappy and mineral. Huge huge minerality. Like a Chablis/Chassagne blend. Concentrated and sweet. Framing wood. Wow. Tense. So much tension. This is genius.

9.4 to 9.5 with 3 hours of air. Really compelling wine. Dense, transparent and elegant. Exceedingly mineral.

Brilliant stuff. Nose is spicey and buttery. Tremendous depth. Palate is incredible. Energy for days. So delicate and elegant and refined. Insane purity. Wow this is just an incredible wine. So delicate and refined. Glides across the palate. Silken texture. Terrific energy and balance. So complex. Ethereal and long. Stunning. A no brainer 9.6. Perfect concentration and balance. Immaculate. This may be a 9.7. So clean.

Jun 11th, 2021This is an elite German Chardonnay. Nose like a Meursault. Buttery, rich, and intensely mineral. Beautiful purity and depth to the aromas. Creamy, but so mineral. Has that classic Meursault thing big time. Palate is just a mineral bomb. So juicy, elegant and deep. Awesome freshness. Terrific power and concentration and so clean. The mineral power of this wine is awesome. What a finish and backend. Leaves the palate slathered. Nose becomes so mineral and floral with air. Wow. A great wine and value.

Feb 10th, 2021Smells like Meursault. Beeswax, butter, some ML rich aromas, salty, mineral, ocean breeze. Gorgeous and stunning. Palate is ripe and rich with a succulent texture and such purity. Terrific freshness and sweet fruit and oak is like a 5% accent on the palate. So well made. Terrific energy and lingering length.

Wow. This is almost somewhere between a cote dor and a cote chalonnaise.
Nose is gorgeous.
It has terrific density and delicious fruit. Some elegant peaches. Nicely mineral and a hint of salt. Perfect acidity.
Still a kiss of unintegtarted oak. Better in 12 months.
