Pleasing #grünerveltliner - subtle indeed. White flower, laid back green apple and faint lemon curd aromas. I didn’t taste much spritz; presents light-to-medium body, tastes like it smells but perhaps was I expecting something more expressive. I admit I have limited #austria Grüner Veltliner tasting experience and this one is a dandy value at Total Wine for ~$11.

Dec 24th, 2019Just the slightest tickle of a frizzante here. Wet white rock and white flowers meet the citrusy nose of an oaked Chardonnay. The palette feels a bit oily, kind of like a Riesling heavy on the petrol. All in all it reminds me of a slightly fizzy Chardonnay-meets-Riesling hybrid.
