The oak needs more time to integrate, but lots of potential here to go 90+ easy once the wine settles in more. Still reminds me of Burgundy, this one more Pouilly-Fuissë at this stage.

Oct 11th, 2014Fennel, licorice, stone, ripe lemon, and mint, crazy complexity and density with finesse. Clean and long on the finish!

Jun 26th, 2014Burgundian in spirit! An exceptional white showing the talent behind the wine in not so much what was but what was not done. Minerality, oak that is integrating well, apple citrus and kiwi fruit, with a beam of acidity, this is the best modern profile white Portuguese wine I have had to date. A clean, persistent finish rounds things out nicely. Bravo Sandra!

Sep 22nd, 2013Powerful nose of vanilla, oak, white chocolate, apricots. On the palate, medium dry, full bodied, medium acidity, rich and velvety, granite and minerals.

Mar 21st, 2020Off the initial tasting my mind and pallet is at a question mark . This is a tuff wine to pin point. A bit of acid at first then a touch of cream then no cream and then acid again then a a bit of fruit . There's a lot going on.

Jul 2nd, 2018Way to young, of course.. so slightly dominated by oak at the moment. So, if you have some, I'd advise you to wait three or four years.
Toast, butterscotch, hazelnut, vanilla, red apples and peach.
Wonderful wine, lots of upside potential.
