This is a well built #oregonpinot
Soft blueberry notes on the nose, wet earthy notes, good med plus acidity with some structure to it. Drink now or wait... Your call.

Atypical for the 2012 vintage. This is an acid and structure-driven Pinot that seems a bit out of balance. Good flavors, but a bit on the harsh side considering the time since vintage and that it got a good breather after opening. Needs more time, but not sure it will ever be in balance.

Black currant and wild blueberries. Drank like a wine with more age.

Serious juice, but in need of a lot of time to smooth out and settle down. Brilliant purple with bright acidity and structure. Rich flavors or blue and dark fruits and a great finish. Hold for a year or two before diving in again.

The nose and palate were dominated by dry earth. Not much fruit or acidity to speak of. Not my style of pinot.
