Lost Poet Atticus California Red Blend

Certainly not complex but smooth and easy with dominant notes of blackberry bramble, vanilla & and touch of cedar on the finish. A crowd pleaser for cabin weekend and paired quite well smore's around the bonfire! ($15) [6/19/21]

Big red wine - heavy tannins. Softened with the aerator and was the perfect temperature after 35 minutes in the fridge. Medium mouth feel

Bad, like really bad, poem on the back. Label is catchy, but boring. The bottle is very heavy. Better be an amazing age-able red. Fairly dark color. Smells ok. Fancy candle, pine needles and cherry-berry candies. Flavors are lush and over the top. This is a candy-assed mess. Straight from the Apothic and Menage trios playbook.

Dry. Flavors of ripe black fruit, cherry, plum, raspberry, cinnamon, oak spice. Smooth, moderate tannins. Soft acidity. Very easy drinking.

Smooth

Medium bodied - acidic with red fruit blend. Smells earthy and flower like. Very joy. Slightly sweet.

Oh that’s nice. Stout and acidic with a smooth aftertaste. The tannins are softened after breathing. Really pronounces sharp cheeses.
