Alchymist Noir Red Blend
A medium bodied red blend of Syrah, Barbera, and Valdiguié. Aromas of red berries carry over to a smooth, jammy and slightly sweet pallate with light/mild tannins. An easy to drink one dimensional wine that seemed to lose some aroma and flavor as it decanted (after aeration), so drink right after opening. ($13)

Jun 23rd, 2016Very drinkable. Jammy and a bit of cherry or berry flavor. Feels very laid back. Excellent for the price!

May 22nd, 2016This wine over-delivers for the price. It's particularly complex, but it's a really nice big, jammy, California red blend. Blackberries and cut grass on the nose, and little toffee mixed in the with fruit one palate. Balance, smooth finish. I recommend.

Mar 15th, 2016Sight: light violent the whole way through, not very viscous
Smell: wet earth, dirt, slightly smokey, berries
Taste: medium alcohol, pretty high acidity, and a good amount of tannin. Berries, cherries, dark chocolate, light tobacco,
Opinion: a little acidic for me, and a little tannic for just sipping, but still like it as a red blend.
