Foss Vineyard Pinot Noir

Nibble and thin PN. Berry, earth and herbs. No flash and little finish.

Cranberry, ripe fruit, cherry cola, floral, smooth & elegant finish.

Could be one of our favorite Selyem's. Our first year for Foss Vineyard. Black Cherry. Strawberry. Peppery nose. Vanilla. Lavender.

The Foss is the more feminine and floral of the tasting. Blackberries, dark cherries, cherries, strawberries, red roses, some black licorice, raspberry cola, beautiful minerals and embracing chalkiness. Finish is round, lush & juicy dark fruits that last.

Floral violets. Dried cherry some cocoa nibs cola flavors. Stellar wine. Lighter fruits on finish got better with time.

Blackberry cola vanilla on nose very juicy flavors after 30 min. Finished mid palate

Open cherry coke. Roses/floral. Very soft but not thin. Vanilla ish on finish

2014. Excellent. Christmas Eve eve with a side of smoked steelhead (my first one).

Should probably wait another year but not at all disappointed. An amazing single vineyard that over-performs it’s pay grade for WS. Very pretty rose, red fruit and spice with delicate texture. Would really love to know how it softens in another 2-3 years but can go way further.
