Williams Selyem, 2017 Pinot, Color: deep purple and cherry red hues throughout. Nose: red cherry fruit and florals burst and subtle wet leave scent lingers. A restrained dark cherry tart taste sits nicely on the pallet; minerals and dry herbs lingering with orange peel; finishes with a nice med-long flavor of plumb vanilla giving it a creamy feel. Could definitely age more years so the tannins can integrate fully, the fruits sweeten more and the dry flavors soften.

1 hour decant. A smashing dark purple color. On the nose: red cherry, floral, currants, wet forest floor. Taste: nice.....restrained, soft, and creamy wine with dark cherry, minerals, herbs, orange peel and a dry vanilla plum slightly tannic medium plus finish. You will be rewarded with a few more years in the cellar!!
