More forest and barn notes than other wines in the Williams Selyem portfolio. Lively with many bites at this age.

Amazing nose. So well balanced. Finishes in a way that isn’t robust but definitely not flat. More like a slow savory simmer if that makes sense. Great wine to celebrate Christmas with my favorite person.

Sweet tongue-coating fruit, muted secondary notes. In an awkward growing phase? But not lots to say.

This wine gets lots “barnyard” comments but that’s only in the context of more typical RRV pure fruit forward Pinot. It’s complex, earthy, and sauvage with great Westside Road red fruit and herbal spice. Awesome wine that easily passes for Morey St. Denis or Nuits St. George Premier Cru
