Sipping Fine Wine

Began as a dream of 2 friends, Ed Selyem & Burt Williams, who pursued weekend winemaking as a hobby in 1979 in a garage in Forestville, CA, and made their first commercial vintage in 1981. Deep Ruby red with aromas of berry fruits with citrus spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry & raspberry, cacao, with notes of vanilla and spice. Elegant fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity ending with fruit and sweet spice notes. Pricey but will not disappoint, worth a try!

Wow 15.1% ABV Dark color, legs, nice dark fruit aromatics, black raspberry. My go to Zin, so good!

I purchased this by mistake. I don’t like pepper and many zinfandels are peppery. Such a delicious surprise!
Fruit bowl of red blue, and black fruit aroma’s abound with hints of anise. Polished & bold. Nice balance of acid tannins and fruit. Harmoniously balanced.

Deep dark plums and licorice. Full mouthfeel. Big body. Paired perfectly with baby back ribs that I grilled. When I want a great Zin, WS never disappoints. (Adding - even better on day 2).

Ripe red fruit. A little zin peppery. Not as balanced as I would expect, but still a lovely bottle. I imagine it will only improve with more time.
